Project 365-ish: February 1, 2013

Made with "picassocam" pinhole camera, paper negative, 3-min exposure, colorized in Photoshop.
There in the distance is the research pier of Scripp's Institute of Oceanography at La Jolla Beach, north of San Diego proper.  I had so much fun photographing the moving water!  I love it's soft effect on the rocks, over this long exposure.

Another nice perk about using my homemade cameras is, I don't care if they get wet or sandy.   When there are no electronics to worry about, and the camera materials cost under 3 bucks, there is a bit of peace and serendipity to enjoy!
